It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Nina Mendes (Gomes) on May 16th 2017, at the age of 93.

She was the wife of late Lawrence Edward Gomes.  She is survived by her children, Peter (Josée), Howard (Lois), Nina Diane and Mary Louise, her grandchildren, Jonathan (Isabelle), Olivier (Rose-Marie) and Nicolas (Christina), her great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Mia, Marc, Brielle and Emmitt as well as nephews, nieces and several relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Charron et Lamoureux Funeral Complex (1295 Sherbrooke St., Magog, Qc) Wednesday May 24th from 10am to 11:30am followed by the funeral service at the Chapel of Resurrection (970 des Pins, Magog, Qc) at 12pm. Interment to take place at the St-Patrice cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the The Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons (6 Garamond Court
Suite 265, Toronto, Ont. M3C1Z5) would be appreciated by the family.
