Mr. John Laing
16/04/1954 - 30/08/2025 In loving memory of Jack Laing (April 16th 1954 - August 30th 2025); a man who lived a full life and cared deeply for those he loved.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Mary, sister April, his children; Michelle, Jaclyn, Josh, and Trisha, along with his grandchildren; Oliver and Finn, and everyone else who was part of his life.
He started his life in Vancouver, BC with his parents, John and Mary Laing, and his older sister, April. His upbringing into his young adult life was always portrayed as a positive experience in his tales and his desire to share his birthplace with those he loved.
Jack has shown to be someone who prioritized loved ones. He was a supportive father figure, an amazing grampie, and always willing to help and host extended family and friends. He was known for his sense of humour, his delicious cooking, entertaining abilities, and willingness to take on new adventures; like moving to new cities, driving a skidoo/ATV, and taking a chance on new opportunities. He was blessed to have supportive friends and family and in turn they were blessed by knowing him.
We will always remember him as a man who always tried his best to ensure those around him were happy and loved.
