Mrs. Irene Butcher Baird
27/03/2023 It's with heart felt sympathy that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Irene Butcher Baird in her 91st year, on March 27th, 2023. Loving wife of 71 years to the late Donald Baird.
Mother and mother-in-law to Patricia and Richard Carriere, the late Charlotte and Ange-Émile Richard, the late Debra Jane, Joyce and Bryan Ruck, Susan and Alan Barcier, Dawn and David Taylor.
We were very lucky to have her in the lives of all 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Her love for her family was profound and family gatherings were always filled with hugs, kisses, good food and great memories.
She was a quiet woman but had a feisty spirt and taught us girls to stand up for ourselves.
She left us the same way, quiet and on her terms.
Till we meet again Mom.
A funeral will be held when the weather turns warm. Mom never did like the cold

Dear Irene, Never too late to say goodbye, especially to such a lovely lady as you.
It was always pleasant to talk in the corridors, you never complained, always
a smile. Thanks be to GOD for an example of courage and "softness' .
